Privacy Policy of bredent medical GmbH & Co.KG

The protection of personal data is a major concern of bredent medical. We want you to know when we store certain data and for what purpose these data are being used. As a company under private law we are subject to the terms of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG - German Federal Data Protection Act) and the Mediendienstestaatsvertrags (MDStV - Media Services Inter-State Agreement). We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the regulations governing data protection will be observed by us and also by our external service providers.

Personal data
Personal data is information which can be used to disclose your identity and includes information such as your real name, address, postal address and telephone number. It does not include information which cannot be directly connected with your real identity (such as favourite websites or number of users of a site).

You can use our online contents without revealing your identity. If you register, order a product or fill a registration form, we ask for your name and other personal information. You are not required to enter this information if you do not want to.

We store your data on specially protected servers in Germany. Access is only granted to a few authorised people who handle the technical, commercial or editorial management of these servers.

We save data on your access for security reasons, which could possibly lead to identification (i.e. IP address, time, date and pages viewed). We do not process personal data. We do reserve the right to statistically process anonymous data.

IP addresses will be saved over a period of 28 days. These addresses will be saved for reasons of data security to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

Passing on personal data to third parties
We use your personal data exclusively in cases of product orders within bredent medical and associated companies. We do not pass on this information to third parties without your expressed permission. Should it be necessary to pass on this data to a third party, in order to process an order, these companies will be contractually bound to conform to BDSG and the privacy policy of bredent medical. When legally obliged or per court order we will pass on this data to the relevant legal authorities.

Right to rescission
Personal data which has been left to us can be deleted at any given time. Data for billing and accounting purposes will not be affected by a cancellation or deletion.

Use of cookies
We use "cookies" (small files with configuration data) in compliance with the requirements of the German Association for Verification of the Circulation of Advertising Media (IVW). These cookies help to establish the frequency of use and the number of users of our website. We do not use cookies to acquire any personal data.

In some sections of our website, we use cookies to implement user functions. You are informed accordingly when this is the case. On certain pages, advertisements by companies or agencies are supplied directly and here cookies may possibly be used without the possibility to inform you.

It is also possible to use our content without cookies. Most browsers are pre-configured to accept cookies. You can deactivate cookies or configure your browser to inform you as soon as cookies are sent.

Children
Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
