Highlight IDS 2011 (Hall 11/1, Booth B10):The bredent group and HELBO break new ground together

Image to the left hand: Peter Brehm, managing director of the bredent group, and Ulrike Vizethum, general manager of HELBO Photodynamic Systems, look forward to cooperating in the future.

In addition to the employees of HELBO, 120 sales colleagues of the bredent group are going to increase the level of awareness of the HELBO therapy (antimicrobial photodynamic therapy) all over the world.

HELBO was awarded several research prizes and supported by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency for the therapy, which is used in dentistry and general medicine. The effectiveness of the therapy is documented in more than 50 scientific publications.

The HELBO therapy verifiably kills bacteria, which survive mouth rinsing solutions and mechanical cleaning. Within a very short time users of the HELBO therapy are able to get intraoral bacterial infections of their patients under control. Diseases such as periodontitis, periimplantitis, endodontitis, caries, pulpitis and healing problems can be successfully treated with this therapy. The use of antibiotics or surgical intervention can be avoided in numerous cases. Moreover, the therapy, which uses gentle laser light, provides a pain-relieving effect.

Peter Brehm, owner of the bredent group, considers the synergies between HELBO and bredent medical to be groundbreaking: "We invest into an innovative therapy which will receive more and more attention in the medical world". The company has always had an instinct for successful products. The bredent group has been successfully doing business in the dental sector for more than 35 years. 350 employees produce and sell products to dentists and dental technicians in more than 100 countries.

Info: During the IDS from March 22-26 (Cologne, Germany) the bredent group is going to present the HELBO therapy in live operations, during treatment of patients and for cases of soft tissue and bone disinfection. The stand is located in Hall 11.1, stand B10.
